About
I’m originally from Puerto Rico and have over 14 years of experience in Information Technology, starting as a deskside support technician and earning certifications such as CompTIA A+ and Network+.
In 2024, I transitioned into industrial automation by joining my company’s Automation Team as an Automation Technician. I entered the field with no prior PLC experience, but I committed myself to learning quickly and building a strong foundation in PLC programming, electrical control systems, industrial networking, VFDs, HMI systems, and troubleshooting.
My background in IT gives me a unique perspective on the connection between OT and IT in modern manufacturing. I’m especially interested in how automation, networking, cybersecurity, and control systems work together to improve reliability and efficiency in plant operations.
This blog is where I document my automation journey, share lessons learned, and post practical content related to PLCs, VFDs, troubleshooting, industrial networking, and real-world plant experience.
My goal is to keep growing into a highly skilled Automation Technician capable of supporting, troubleshooting, and optimizing industrial control systems.
