About

I’m originally from Puerto Rico and bring over 14 years of experience in IT, where I started as a deskside support technician and earned certifications such as CompTIA A+ and Network+.

In 2024, I transitioned into the field of industrial automation, taking on a role as an Automation Technician within my company’s Automation Team. Although I entered this field with no prior PLC experience, I embraced the challenge and committed to rapidly developing the necessary skills.

Since then, I’ve been focused on building a strong foundation in PLC programming, electrical control systems, and industrial troubleshooting. My learning approach combines structured training through platforms like Udemy and RealPars with hands-on experience in real-world plant environments.

I’m particularly interested in the intersection of OT and IT within industrial manufacturing, and my goal is to become highly proficient in designing, troubleshooting, and optimizing control systems that support reliable and efficient operations.

This blog documents my journey as I continue to grow in the field of industrial automation.
